Hello, Day 1 Prelim Families!

You may have noticed that our meet program has not yet been released.  We're asking your patience as we iron out a few matters and we'll email final copy as soon as it's available!

WARM-UP:  Barracudas will be in the water to warm up at 4:00pm!

VOLUNTEERS:  THANK YOU to our Barracuda volunteers for this event.  Please see job assignments attached and note we're still looking for 2 more CONCESSIONS volunteers.  One to pick up the pizzas between 4-5pm and one to help 2nd shift concessions crew.

CONCESSIONS:  We'll have great dinner options of grilled items & pizza available at concessions as well as Kona Ice. 

PRELIMS 101:

The purpose of the Prelims Meet is to set up the heats for Championships. *If your swimmer finishes 1st-6th in Prelims, they will be in the medal heat for Championships. They will receive a medal if they complete that race and do not DQ. *If your swimmer finishes 7th-12th in Prelims, they will be placed in the ribbon heat for Championships. They will get a ribbon if they complete that race and do not DQ. **Important to know, if your swimmer is in the ribbon heat, and has a time that beats a swimmer in the medal heat, they will not get a medal. Only swimmers in the medal heat will be awarded a medal. *NO MEDALS OR RIBBONS ARE AWARDED FROM PRELIMS*
