OFFICIALS
Swim meet officials ensure compliance with league rules in the pool and on the deck with a Deck Ref; Meet Ref; and multiple Stroke & Turn Judges. Anyone new to this role starts with training to be a Stroke & Turn official and more experienced officials move up to Meet Ref & Deck Ref positions. Please let us know if you have interest in these critical positions!
TREASURER
This person should have an accounting background. Manage team budget, tax obligations, cash management and financial reporting for our beloved 501(c)(3).
CLERK of COURSE
(Home Meets Only) Coordinate swimmer entries for all home meets, place them into their races and manage scratches & adds on the pool deck.
HEATING CHAIR
(Home Meets Only) Organize swimmers’ event cards, post the current & upcoming race for heating, get swimmers in the right place at the right time with the help of H2O assistant and parent volunteers through the heating area.
SCORING CHAIR
Manage scoring at home meets. Run meet management software and produce the swim meet results. Provide swim meet schedule to Parent Reps and Coaches before home meets. Provide scores to the teams and the league following meets and update score announcements periodically throughout each meet. Interface with team head coach and clerk of course to make sure the entries are correct on the heat sheet and swimmer times are correct in the team software.
