Hello! My name is Ryan Toohill, and this year I am honored to be the Head Coach of the Barracudas as well as the coach for the 11-12 age group. This is my 15th year with the team and my 6th year on the coaching staff. I just finished my Junior year at Gonzaga University, where I am studying Biology. Along with my time on the Barracudas I have been on several club swim teams and was a varsity swimmer all four of my years at Regis Jesuit High School. As a coach my focus is on helping every swimmer develop proper stroke technique, while also building both their aerobic and anaerobic endurance. Most importantly, though, I want everyone on the team to have fun and succeed in their own way. I can’t wait for this summer! Go Barracudas!!!
Hello everyone, my name is Mia Costa and I am so excited to be going into my 14th season with the Barracudas! I have been a part of the team since I was in 1st grade and I am so excited to coach the next generation of super star swimmers! I hope to teach the swimmers of this team all of the lifelong skills that I have developed throughout my time as a Barracuda and to be a part of this team as a leader and role model. I will be going into my sophomore year at the University of Oklahoma, studying Health and Exercise Science and hope to become an Occupational Therapist. I look forward to this season and want to make sure that everyone feels included, recognized and grows as a swimmer and community! Go Barracudas!!
Hi there! My name is Stephen Wu, and this year I will be the coach of both the 7-8 and 9-10 age groups. This will be my 10th year with the Barracudas and my third year on the coaching staff. I’m just finishing my sophomore at Baylor University, where I am studying Business and Management Information Systems. My favorite part about summer swimming is the community it creates and lifelong bonds that develop as a result. I am excited to have a lot of fun coaching this summer! Go Barracudas!
